Flyfisherman´s Inari and Teno Rivers

The flies that recognized in the rivers Inari and Teno are useful for salmon year after year - by learning the conditions of each fly pattern of different weather, waterlevel, temperature and even surrounding nature. Every season brings out some hot patterns - that are no use for the next season. But a few of those hot patterns will outlast and become a popular pattern for several years.

Mikko Malin

Mikko is one of the younger flyfishermen at Rivers Inari and Teno. His occupation in Fisheries Division at the Finnish Employment and Economic Developments Centre gives him a deeper knowledge of Salmon basics.

Because Mikko lives in Kotka, his home river is River Kymi in Southern Finland. But that doesn´t keep him away from Rivers Inari and Teno and from the Real Atlantic Salmon.
